Does anyone else feel like making kids start school August 1st is just plain rude?? My goodness, it feels like Summer gets shorter and shorter every year! On the plus side, that means all of you moms and dads now have more time to focus on you- and that's where we can help!
I hope you all had a wonderful and safe Summer. I hope you remembered to apply and reapply that SPF we keep harping about. And I hope you made some amazing memories. We look forward to hearing all about your adventures the next time you come in!
Forgive the late entry- I spent some much-needed time at home with my sweet mamacita and sis and fam, but I'm back and ready to get back in the swing of things. Thank you for loading up my first Monday back- nothing like returning to full books! As Fall if our busiest season, please remember to plan ahead for your booking needs and, since there are likely folks waiting for a spot to open up- please let us know asap if you need to cancel or reschedule.
As always, I try to deliver this info in bite-sized pieces so you you get the pertinent info without having to read a novel- please feel free to let me know what you like or don't like, or how I can make these newsletters better and more useful for you!
Here are the bullet points for the month if you want to skip ahead:
Thank you all!
With love,
Jen & the Allyn Aesthetics team
Please help us extend a warm welcome to our new Client Services Representative, Rebekah Lohora!Although not officially a "native", Rebekah has called Mount Juliet home since she was six years old. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and spending time with her dog, Cory, a spoiled dachshund mix. As someone who struggled with acne, she knows the importance of good skincare and quality products. She is excited to work at Allyn Aesthetics and learn more about this field. Fun fact: Bekah is big sis to our beloved esthetician, Emily!Bekah will be taking over Katie's MTF/every other Sat schedule when Katie leaves for grad school (Sept 1st).
I was so hoping to come on here and tell you how great Sonya is and tempt you with some great massage specials. Unfortunately, though we were optimistic about the potential, expectations weren't met and it turned out this wasn't a great fit. So, if any of you know a talented, reliable massage therapist that's looking for a new spa home, or even just to pick up a couple of days a month, please send them our way! In the meantime, for those of you with appointments on the books, they have been cancelled for now- I am so sorry. We will let you know asap when we have someone new available for booking.
Next time you're in you'll notice that we've made some small changes to the lobby, bringing in more retail offerings for your shopping and gift-giving needs. In addition to skincare, we now have a number of specially curated gift items, all sourced from companies that give back, many of whom are local and most that are women-owned.
My goal for you is that you will find just the gift you need, for yourself or for that someone special- we'll even have options for building your own gift basket!
As members of the Mt. Juliet community, we're not only committed to giving back, but want to make it easier for you to do so too! We've added a philanthropy page to our website with information about some of our favorite MJ organizations, with links to their web and donation sites. We've also added a dry goods collection bin to our lobby, for those items most needed by the Mt. Juliet Help Center.
As an added incentive, we'll give you 10% off your visit if you bring in a donation or show us your receipt for a donation you made online. We're so hoping that together we can make a big impact for the people in our community who need it most!
Next month we're sponsoring and participating in Sherry's Run- join our team by selecting "Allyn Aesthetics" at registration!
