Growing up I always LOVED my birthday. My family was super intentional about keeping it separate from Christmas and, as a result, it ended up being it's own major holiday, ha ha. As I got older and moved away, celebrating my birthday always meant a mini reunion of childhood friends, as everyone was always home for the holidays and that was the last night to hit the bars before Christmas- talk about a major party! I can't say that the nightlife calls to us so much anymore, and the get-togethers are fewer and farther between, as holiday commitments are split between everyone's in-laws and kids, but what remains constant is the valuable time I get to spend with my own family in my hometown: the most precious gift of all. These last couple of years, due to our jobs in the hospital, Dave and I have not been home in time to celebrate my birthday, so the 23rd has become a bit lackluster and anti-climactic, and usualy with terrible weather to boot- poor me, right?

As I continue to age (always better than the alternative, right?), the passing of the years is less and less exciting, and the major celebration seems far less necessary. And, not that I LOVED being 45, but there's something about 46 that feels so much more monumental (not in a good way), like I'm suddenly on that slippery slope, racing headlong toward 50 (how on Earth did that happen??!). As much as we wish it was, 50 is not likely to be the new 30, but I'd settle for 39!

One of the obvious benefits of running a business such as this is access to cutting age treatments and products. But, as you all know by now, I'm not just in this for myself. While I certainly intend to personally fight the clock as long as I can, I also always have all of you in the back of my mind and get so excited when we "discover" something earth-shattering that we can bring to you!

There are no add-ons or extra charges for things like aromatherapy, extra masks, light peels, acne care, or oxygenating treatments. If you need it, you get it, all for one set cost.

What this means is that, while the basic steps remain the same, product use varies from facial to facial, so you'll for sure have a different facial than your friends and may even have a different facial each time you come in, as your skin's changing needs dictate selection of different products. Online Booking Etiquette

Let's face it: it's 2023 and doing everything online is just easier. We get it, and we're thrilled that we can offer you the ease and flexibility of booking online. However, one of the pitfalls of online booking is that clients have full reign to book, reschedule, cancel, rebook, and book again, often leaving last-minute, unfillable holes in the schedule. Honestly, 99% of y'all do not abuse the priviledge, but those that do do it BIG TIME. What I'd like you to keep in mind are those times that you really want to get in but can't, because we're fully booked, and how bummed you'd feel knowing the person holding the spot would likely cancel it with too little time for you to grab it up. Frustrating, right?

As a reminder, we do not book/hold "just in case" appointments. This applies to the following:

1. We tell you that in 14 days you can book a follow up for additional tox dosing. Please do not book this preemptively. We can most certainly find 15 minutes for a follow up when you contact us on day 14.

2. You're not sure if you can pair one service with another (or which order to book them in). Please do not book with the thought that you can always cancel it later. Instead, text or call us to see if the booking is appropriate and we'll get you set up with exactly what you need.

3. You're told you have to have a consult before your service appointment. Please do not go ahead and schedule your service appointment until after you've been cleared to do so at your consult. If you do, it will be cancelled.

We've also set a limit on how many appointments can be pre-booked online, due to the number of people that book months out and then invariably cancel those appts a day or two ahead. So, if the system won't let you book it's likely because you've exeeded your alotted number of pre-bookings (4). We're hoping this new system will make it more fair for everyone that's trying to get in and we'll keep an eye on it. We can always make changes as needed down the line!
