I always get excited when September rolls around because I LOVE fall. The mild weather, crisp air, pumpkin spice EVERYTHING, a little bit of impending spookiness as we prep for Halloween, and my fall closet staples- leggings, knee-high boots, and a puffy vest (what my hubs affectionately calls "The Han Solo", ha ha).

What I fail to remember, EVERY YEAR, is that here in middle Tennessee, September is STILL SUMMER. Ugh. Lucky for us, it is nice and cool and refreshing here at work, making Allyn Aesthetics a much-needed refuge from this oppressive sauna of a place we call home.

If you haven't been in recently, we'd love to welcome you back- we've likely made a few changes since we last saw you. In honor of fall and back-to-school season we have a few great specials we're extending through the end of September (details below). Our staffing became a bit of a revolving door in August but the drama has thankfully settled down and our core group remains, with a couple of pending additions.

As always, I try to deliver this info in bite-sized pieces so you you get the pertinent info without having to read a novel- please feel free to let me know what you like or don't like, or how I can make these newsletters better and more useful for you!

Staffing Changes

Bear with us as we make some much-needed adjustments to our staffing. Our core team remains intact except for our beloved Katie who leaves us today (you're SO going to rock PA school, Katie!). She will be back on occasion to fill in at the desk and (fingers crossed) she'll join our provider team when she's done with school!

We've hired a lovely, kind, and highly qualified professional named Cat who will take over Katie's hours at the desk. And -BONUS- she's also a talented hair stylist! Cat plans to open up some hours behind the chair on the days she's not working the desk: stay tuned for the announcement!

Due to the above changes we may be without desk coverage on some days, meaning we'll have to keep the front doors closed and be open
for appointments only.

We will notify you if this is the case and ask you to text on arrival to be let in. 

We're also super excited to welcome our newest esthetician, Mallory! Mallory comes to us with great experience, an enthusiastic approach to learning, and the maturity and professionalism necessary to be a great success at Allyn Aesthetics. Welcome, Mallory!

We are actively seeking a massage therapist to join us part-time so if you know someone great please send them our way!

Shop 'Till You Drop!

The retail section of our lobby is fully stocked for your next shopping spree! In addition to skincare, we have jewelry, candles, and bath and body products as well as some gorgeous clothing items, handbags, and super cute Mt. Juliet tote bags and dish towels. Be sure to save extra time to shop after your next appointment! We're also in the process of putting skincare kits together so that you can get all of your foundational products with one purchase.

Member Mix & Mingle

Mark your calendar for our first annual Member Mix & Mingle! This year we're hosting the member's only event on Tuesday, September 26th to celebrate one year in our new location. We certainly couldn't have done it without all of your loyalty, devotion, support, laughter, and patience!
Members, please join us Tuesday, September 26th, from 4-7pm. We'll have drinks, light apps, and probably a few savings opportunities for your eyes only ;)

As members of the Mt. Juliet community, we're not only committed to giving back, but want to make it easier for you to do so too! We've added a philanthropy page to our website with information about some of our favorite MJ organizations, with links to their web and donation sites. We've also added a dry goods collection bin to our lobby, for those items most needed by the Mt. Juliet Help Center. 

As an added incentive, we'll give you 10% off your visit if you bring in a donation or show us your receipt for a donation you made online. We're so hoping that together we can make a big impact for the people in our community who need it most!
